A Little Bit of Everything

I have so much to share and I'm not sure where I should start! Well pretty much everything that's been going on has a lot to do about Austin... surprised? Yeah didn't think so!
First if of all Austin got his first ear surgery. It was such a stressful day. I was more stressed than he was. We got to the hospital in the morning and about 2 hours later he finally got into the surgery room.
Aust was very calm about the whole thing, but he didn't realize what he was actually going to do. When he finally got out into recovery he wasn't doing so good. It was so sad and awful to see him so sick and hurt. He was in recovery for a long time we didn't get home till later that night. The first week was very hard. The pain medications made him very sick and because work was done on his ear it made him very dizzy. But now he is doing extremely well  and the healing of his ear is going great! I'm glad that we kind of know what to expect for the next ear and hopefully everything will go well again.
This has been such a fun weekend. I'm so glad that was able to help and spend time with the Bride to Be, Kayla! I am so incredibly excited for her wedding day. It is going to be a beautiful day. I love Cameron and Kayla both so much. I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends and to be a part of their special day!
After hanging with Kayla, and lets just say her announcements are so cute, Austin and me went to dinner and then went shopping around! We always end up at The Chocolate every once in awhile...We are particularly fond of the hot chocolate. Of course Kayla and Cameron joined us!
But the most exciting thing that has happened this weekend has been Austin getting the Aaronic Priesthood. I can't describe the feeling in the room as my dad and awesome men of our ward including my brother stood in the circle and ordained him a priest. My dad gave him a wonderful blessing and Austin was just beaming and smiling from ear to ear. I know I say this all the time but I swear I love that boy more and more everyday and today I couldn't be more proud or happy. We are just getting closer and closer to our day. I am so lucky to be his girlfriend :)

It's Been Too Long Friends

Who knows if anyone will read this...Yeah it's been awhile, but hey what can I do.
It's been crazy, funny, stressful, happy, good, awesome, scary and great this year so far.
Like always I the happiest girl in the world :) And life with Aust is about to get even better! He is on his way to get the priesthood! It's very exciting! I always knew I would be with a worthy priesthood holder someday and it seems like my dreams just keep coming true. I can't wait to marry that man some day.
I am grateful for the gospel. It was made for people like Austin and me. The girl who lived her whole life one way then meet a boy who made her face the greatest moment of choice and change. The boy who has the kindest biggest heart, but was off the straight and narrow path by just a couple steps.
Austin always says I saved him, but I honestly believe we saved each other. I may have been discouraged and wandered but I wasn't lost and I don't think I would have fell in love with Austin if I wouldn't have done that. As for Austin if he wouldn't have been shown the true life of a imperfect latter day saint girl, we wouldn't be sealed together someday. He has had a few bad examples of the church in the past, so now he truly understands this true church for all the amazing things it is.
I know we meet at the time we did for a reason, We feel in love for a reason. I think that what has been going on these past few months has shown that.
So enough of the heart to heart :) I'm so excited to celebrate Austin's bday! I've got some fun things planned! I hope he will have fun especially since he will be getting his ear surgery a few days after his birthday. I'm more nervous about the whole thing than he is, but his poor ears have only gotten worse and I don't want him to go deaf someday...this has been a long time coming.
Life is so good. I love it.
I can't wait to live tomorrow. To someday be a teacher. To someday be Mrs. Mandarino. To graduate college. To be with all the people I love for the rest of my life, everyday and forever.
Well have a been to sappy and cheesy in my blogging return?? I will try and be better about that ;)
